Basketball Court After Rain

Basketball Court After Rain
I kept driving by this basketball court at sunset but each time there were people playing basketball. The audacity. I've focused on conceptual photography lately, but decided "why not walk around a wet court and stare at the ground?" One morning it rained though, and once the sun started to peek out I ran over hoping no one would be using it for its intended purpose. I came for puddles and paint but stayed for shadows and accidental abstractions (I can check off alliteration from today's to-do list).
For these shots, I took out the Fujifilm X-T5 and the XF16-55mm lens. They're both water resistant and I wasn't sure if it'd start pouring again. I had never taken photos of a basketball court before, so I wasn't sure how wide an angle lens I would need. The 16-55mm worked great, letting me get the whole court or some closer abstract scenes. I just had to make sure I didn't slip.
If you'd rather red and green instead of blue and green, you can see this court at sunset instead.
