What is it like speaking at TechCrunch Disrupt?

When it comes to my family's audio company, Grado Labs, I tend to constantly be getting nodged out of my comfort zone. I've talked about being in my first photoshoot, but there's a big difference between still photos and being on camera with a live audience. Ever since I was cast in my 5th grade play, I've had stage fright. I'm not too big a fan of being on stage - but when TechCrunch asks you to be at Disrupt to talk about what your family does, you get over it. Or at least suck it up for the twenty minutes. Turned out to be a great experience (and the food backstage was great). Watch the video here or above.
