The photographs of Saint Citrus have been showcased as prize winners at Homiens Gallery in New York, NY.

It falls right through me, but the memory is enough.

Saint Citrus is a conceptual series exploring the pull of the creative consciousness and unfulfilled potential. Shot against blue velvet, oranges act as symbols of ideas waiting to be taken or left to waste. A briefcase filled with fruit becomes creative potential that can be used, stockpiled, or left to rot. A hand emerging from the blue velvet, possibly Saint Citrus mirroring the artist’s own, doesn’t care who takes the spark, only that it’s taken at all. All oranges were donated to a food shelter after the shoot; the briefcase is still hard at work. Shot and edited by Jonathan Grado.
