Austin has been upwards of 400 degrees lately (it has led to pretty skies over a Waffle House), so to escape the sun’s vendetta against me for using sun tan lotion I spent a week on the California coast. Being 72 and sunny with a coastal breeze, I could actually walk outside again. So much so that I almost broke my foot in half on the second day. Every photo below was taken with a graceful hobble. So many pink exteriors, maybe I was inspired by the spirit of SoCal and the box office of Barbie. Quick side note, a closed barbershop might be my favorite one in here.
